The Chumps originated as a dynamic 32 piece accordion trio, but through a combination of attrition and bad advice from a well known dermatologist, were eventually reduced to seven members. Due to their diversity of religious beliefs and general inability to perceive reality, they took this reduction as a sign from God that they had been chosen for greatness. At the pinnacle of their career, they ran their own theatre in downtown Toronto, had a weekly show on CBC radio and in their own minds, were regulars on the David Letterman Show. Though unconfirmed, it is reported that at their height, as a group they earned well over 3 figures. This CD is their only surviving work and sadly it is out of print.
